About
Maura J. Kelly is an attorney who practices U.S. Immigration Law exclusively. Maura was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts. She is the granddaughter of Irish immigrants.
In December 2000, Maura moved to Cork, Ireland with her future husband, Tim, a native of Country Limerick. While in Ireland, Maura worked in the pensions industry, started a family and earned a Law Degree from University College Cork. Maura was admitted to the New York State Bar in January 2010.
In 2013, Maura returned to Boston with her family and opened Maura Kelly Immigration Law. Maura’s interest in U.S. Immigration Law grew out of her experience in assisting her husband with the Lawful Permanent Resident (green card) application process. The difficulties she and her husband encountered in acquiring a green card motivated Maura to help others with the U.S. Immigration system.
Maura Kelly Immigration Law focuses primarily on family immigration, extreme hardship waivers, citizenship issues, asylum, deportation defense, DACA, TPS and VAWA. Maura Kelly is dedicated to helping individuals and families immigrate to the U.S. to pursue their American dream.
